Introduction	Patiently awaiting the arrival of my baby boy. Praying everyday for my dream to come true that I will be able to hold my baby boy in my arms & be the best mom I can be. Everything was so perfect (so I thought) until I reached my halfway point in pregnancy. At 20 weeks, I ran into some road blocks...bleeding, contractions, funneling cervix, failed cerclage (2 surgeries), ruptured water bag...more pain than I ever thought I could endure. I was placed on bed rest in my 5th month of pregnancy and admitted to the hospital 5.17.11. Then, at 24 weeks on 6.3.11, I was given 2 doses of Betamethazone injections - a steroid to develop my baby's lungs in case I delivered him prematurely (this is what the doctors believe will happen) I'm so scared! But I know that God has it under control. While in the hospital, I have had time to reflect on what all I've been through, get closer to God, my son and the love of my life DCII. I've met other moms dealing with the same issues on online forums and support groups. And I've had a team of wonderful nurses. This journey to motherhood will be an experience I will NEVER forget. I can't wait to meet you Duwayne III...Estimated Due Date: September 24, 2011.
