| Introduction | I am originally from a small town in Central Illinois and moved to Chicago in the Summer of 2006. This is my eighth year teaching and my fifth year at Garvy. My experiences include teaching first grade and second grade in Urbana, in addition to working with the special education program in Wilmette. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a Master's degree in Literacy Language and Culture with Reading Specialist Certification from University of Illinois at Chicago. I’m thrilled to be a part of the team at Garvy and look forward to continuing my career among an amazing staff, supportive parents and dynamic children! |
