| Introduction | My name is Bailey Ward and I am currently a sophomore at Middle College High School. I am an active member in various clubs including Interact, BSU, Leadership, and the San Pablo Youth Commission. I also serve on the WCCUSD School Board as the student representative. I am a very passionate person which is why I decided to apply to the Ivy League Connection and the Women and Leadership program at Brown. When I began to learn about and experience the many challenges that women face in our world, I instantly wanted to become involved and take action in positively changing the way women are represented today. Not only do I hope to gain plenty of knowledge from the course, I expect to grow and learn from traveling and experiencing a piece of college life. I'm excited to share with you and others all I've learned and encountered. I am so grateful for this experience and hope you enjoy my blog. |
