| Introduction | When I started in my current job, I decided I would commute by bicycle. That was back in the spring of 2006. It took me three years to become fit enough to commute on a daily basis. The distance is about 44 km return. I have always enjoyed outdoor life, so when I became stronger riding my bike, I developed an interest for touring. Touring, I found, is very rewarding in many ways. You get to see new places and you become a stronger cyclist. Since I live not so far from the North Cape, I became curious about those who were cycling to the cape. I figured out that I could give them a place to sleep and the idea of the Cyclist's Home developed. |
