| Introduction | Welcome to my blog. Me? I'm a self confessed procrastinator. It's time to start doing, instead of just thinking...today's the day. About 9 years, I did a BA in Creative Writing. Unfortunately, as soon as I left uni, the creative juices stopped flowing. I was a mature student, so when I finished my degree, I went straight back into a boring office job. I work in a different office job now, which luckily, is anything but boring. But my life in general is quiet. Just how I like it. I am fortunate to have time to myself and get back into something I love - writing silly poems and stories. My spelling has never been perfect, my poems don't always rhyme but I get pleasure out of creating, so that's what I will do. For my dissertation, I wrote a children's book and with the help of a very talented illustrator friend, Joanna Little, the book came to life. I plan on sharing some extracts from the book, as well as the illustrations. I will rework old scribbles/poems/stories and create new ones. I hope what you read makes you smile - |

Plastic is horrible. So I would sell the manufacturing plant and open a soup kitchen, art gallery, organic cafe, handmade soap shop, the list is endless...
