Introduction | It happened for two reasons: First, there are some fascinating fashion movements happening now, like Gothic Lolita and the Burlesque Pinup look. Both styles use so much finery, great details and fancy ornamentation. I just love it! Second: I see attractive people anywhere, everywhere, and they are wearing pajamas. It might be comfortable, but it just looks bad! Inspired by the good and horrified by the bad, I realized that I want to revive the finery in everyday life. I believe that every little detail can make a difference and that where you begin strongly influences where you end. This is why I am making lingerie. (Well, I also had a few dozen garter belt clips to work with too. What else could I do with them? Use them to hold crap onto my bike?) I designed costumes for Seattle burlesque troupe, Zenzi. I am currently employed as a costume designer and creating a line of my own garters, waist cinchers and other "naughty" wear. http://jennasredrhino.com/ |
