| Introduction | In 1966 my daughter said "Dad we need a hobby". A suggestion that was to change my life. We started collecting stamps. She did Russia because they issued a lot of colorful stamps. I did JFK topicals. A year later without a clue as to what I was doing and no philatelic knowledge I borrowed $10,000 bought a so called "dealer inventory" and opened up a very small stamp store in a local hotel.
