| Introduction | I originally created this blog in order to keep in touch/update the many wonderful people in my life while I studied for a semester in Central America. It then served (sporadically) to keep me in touch with folks back home as I returned to El Salvador for a year post-graduation. Now I am a Lutheran Volunteer Corps volunteer in Detroit, MI. I am embarking on a year of urban farming and community education. And I can only imagine that, wherever I find myself for the long haul (and who knows?), I am likely creating yet one more place that can consider "back home." |
