| Introduction | I am a 17 year old who happens to have Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy a.k.a. my legs don't work so I can't walk a.k.a. I am paraplegic. I hope within the next few years to be working towards a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. I have struggles that I face on a daily basis, but am doing the best I can to be indepedent and know that although I have to do things a little differently I will do the things I need and want to do. My attitude, although it hasn't always been is, I can sit here and cry because my legs don't work or I can do my best with what I have. Whichever path I choose to take the chair will still be there soI may as well try and take the ride with a smile, despite the bumps in the road. |
