About me

Introduction	I taught elementary school for over 21 years, grades K through 5th. I love being active in RIF, our local Reading is Fundamental group. We give 4500 books to 3 elementary schools 3 times every year. The PreK - 5th grade children choose their own book! I believe that children learn by doing- I found that happy children make friends, enjoy school and work harder when engaged and challenged. I loved using music,classroom plays, art,hands-on math and science activities,age appropriate technology, and cooking to create a magical learning environment. Making subjects and books come alive makes a big difference. As a teacher or a parent, if you show enthusiasm, so will your student or child. Learning should be fun and rewarding for everyone!
