| Introduction | I am the Fowl Housewife. I can navigate my way around Northpark Mall as well as any life long resident of Dallas. I love my Manolos. That being said, something sets me apart from your everyday North Dallas housewife. I am Fowl. I am a backyard chicken farmer. That's right people. I just used chicken farmer and Manolos in the same paragraph. Short story, we moved our family to Dallas three years ago from a small west Texas town. Craving a small piece of the ranch I miss so much, I've set out to carve my own little green acres in this concrete jungle we call Dallas. I may be risking some scowls from the HOA, but it's worth it. I hope you join me on this adventure of raising two boys, four chickens, one sassy schnauzer,all while juggling: baseball, basketball, skateboarding, turning 30, running marathons, cooking anything from clams to calf fries, and doing it on with a smile on face, and a zanex in my pocket:) |
