| Introduction | I look for the joy in life and sharing the journey with family, friends, and those that touch my life along the way. Growing up in a cancer family and as a 4th stage cancer survivor I wake each morning excited about another day and mindful of the gifts I've been given to share with others. |
| Interests | Playing with my grandkids is #1! Poetry, inline skating, walking, gardening, hiking, canoening, kayaking, biking, and volunteer work with groups and individuals. Much of my work is in cancer survivorship and getting survivors to step up to the "rest of their life". |
| Favorite movies | Pass it On - but I was an Airborne Ranger during the Vietnam era, so I am an adventure junky, and enjoy many of the old adventure movies. We don't own a TV, so my Kindle Fire gives me access to many of the forgotten movies and TV series I missed during my college years, and in the Army. |
| Favorite music | I lived through the 60's and 70's, so much of my favorite music comes from the folk rock of that age. I love the poetry of Neil Diamond and Dylan. |
| Favorite books | I'm a used book buyer, or maybe it's an addiction, but I am learning how to enjoy my Kindle. I have many body-mind-spirit authors that stir my mindfulness practice. |
