Location	Burley, Idaho
Introduction	As a native Idahoan, I grew up with tall tales of fur traders, Indians, cowboys and quarrelsome settlers. The sixty mile roundtrip each day to school left plenty of time for daydreaming, and living on the California Trail with the City of Rocks as a playground, my imagination ran wild. The bus route wound down past beaver dammed creeks, bands of sheep and dusty cattle. Combining with the passed down revealations from ancestors who were early settlers to the area, the seeds of future stories were planted firmly in my mind. The giant rock formations were truly silent at the time, yet they had wielded enough rusty guns and wagon parts to become a perfect backdrop for imagined Indian raids and terrified emigrants.
