| Introduction | I am an editor who can't turn her back on reporting. Footloose and slightly madcap, I will write as passionately about the blues and life and lust as about the day's burning political and social issues. I started in journalism as reporter for local Negros dailies and stringer/correspondent for national dailies and a wire agency. I am currently editor in chief of The Philippine Graphic. I was a Knight International Fellows (1985-96) at Stanford University, and a 1st prize winner for investigative journalism (non-daily category) in the Jaime V. Ongpin Awards for Excellence in Journalism. I formerly chaired the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines. |
