| Introduction | Born in Rangoon, Burma. Raised in Rangoon, Burma and St. Paul, Minnesota. Yes, they are two extremes in many ways! Higher education at Carleton College and University of California, Berkeley. Worked at 3M (summers), Naval Research Laboratory (post-doctoral fellowship), Catholic University of America, and UMUC. Lived on three different continents, and the east coast, midwest, and west coast of the U.S. Now I am trying to integrate all that I have seen and learned toward changing my life in line with what I truly believe -- that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. |
