Introduction	I'm a mother, teacher, writer, and breast cancer survivor. Twenty weeks into the pregnancy that was meant to be closure on my cancer, a routine ultrasound revealed that my unborn daughter had a fatal genetic defect. Offered termination as an option, I declined. Faith and hope guided me through her birth, death, and the breast cancer recurrence that followed.
