| Introduction | I studied Philosophy at University before moving to St Petersburg, Russia. I write on politics from a broadly speaking libertarian perspective, and on culture from a philosophical perspective. In Philosophy, my interests have been mainly in the Continental tradition. Nietzsche and Heidegger have both had a huge effect on me. However, I am as interested in figures such as Wittgenstein and McIntyre, who are harder to place in a certain school. The Russian religious existentialist Lev Chestov is also a favourite of mine. |
