| Introduction | In 9th grade I would Skip school to play in a "pride poker game".Was pride for me beating the seniors, and shame for those who lost to the 9th grader.I got into house tournys when I was in 9th grade.I did pretty well and we would have some decent size tournys for a house game.We'd sometimes get up to 4 tables.When I was in 9th grade I won my first tourny play HU vs this prick senior.He tried to keep my money after beating him,luckily the other seniors didn't rele like him either and ran him down for me.In the school news paper the next week there was an artical about our pride poker game, and I still have it to this day.One of the seniors wrote a column that read the worst part about poker is when people win that shouldn't, and then he retract those words and said well not even win I guess, its more like stumble upon a victory. Well little did they know that I took the game pretty serious and wanted to win more then anyone eles.I would watch and learn as much as I could back then,and would reguarly beat the home games. My earnings since Dec. 2009 total over 150k |
