| Introduction | Hi, my name is Denise. I was born and raised in Chicago and it is here that I just finished my education and am free and jobless at the moment. I started to cook late according to my father who says I should have been making him meals in third grade. Well I finally made my own dishes just before highschool and I realized that I didn't know any of the recipes that meant so much to me. I come from a mixed background, my father is Mexican and my mother Polish, both off the boat and now at the age of 22 I dont wan't to be like my cousin's wife crying in my moms kitchen because she got married and doesn't know any Polish dishes. So I am making it my mission to sqeeze out of my parents some time for cooking. But I have another dalema(sp?), my boyfriend Stu. Hes a wonderful guy and I am so happy to have met him but I worry that he won't be too happy eating the food I make. He says hes not picky, by he doesn't like fishy fish, sledzie, or mayonaise rich foods, salata jarzynowa. And when it comes to Mexican food, I'm used to flamming hot the healthier but to Stu the heat kills the flavor. Its obvious our tastes differ, so here I go... wish me luck. |
Describe the sound of a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle.
Question for the question... why is a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle, is it being reheated? I would understand waffle batter but a ready made moist waffle? I assume the waffle is from the fridge and is cold, so probably a sorta muted clanky sound.
