| Introduction | In 1991, I was ordained a Deacon in The Episcopal Church, and in 1992 was ordained to the priesthood. Since that time, I have served as a humble parish priest in the Midwest and Southeastern United States. I believe strongly that we need to find a way of being Christian that is centered on transformation of self and of the world, according to the vision of God in Christ. And that we need to do this in a way that embodies the compassion of Christ, rather than the violence that seems to characterize so much religious talk and action these days. |
