Introduction	Hello there. I'm not a chef. The only training I've received in cooking was a once monthy class at the Philbrook Museum I took about 3 years ago. (and frankly we all went for the wine, not necessarily to learn anything.) I recently struck out on my own, business-wise, so money is tight for new cooking gear and pricey ingredients. Add to this a goal to lose weight this year, and to try some more adventurous eating... and you will get a blog that I hope tries some creative cooking, tests out some new cooking gear I'll need for my pretty non-aweinspiring kitchen, samples some new restaurants I haven't been to before, and documents my attempts to create a "kitchen garden."
