Introduction	The Skin Deep literature collection lists reading material, both fiction and non-fiction suitable to adults/young adults interested in social awareness and reflective process. The compilation is intended as a celebration of the UN International Day For The Elimination Of Racial Discrimination, observed annually on 21st March. The aim of this resource mini collection is to bring into focus the challenges and prejudices that form part of history for the African American/African people. This bibliography's main intention furthermore is to highlight the long term suffering of racism victims and trauma caused to the demeaned human spirit at the hands of racial hatred.
