| Introduction | We live in Page, AZ I moved here in 2005. After a couple of months of living here Rodney & I started dating. Rod and I took a little vacation to Maui with our friends, Rodney purposed to me on the beach 11/7/07 it was the most romantic purposal ever. Also the longest walk on the beach ever!:) We got married almost exactly a year later on 11/15/08. We got to go back to Maui for our honeymoon. I think it is safe to say we LOVE Maui. Now we are expecting our first child & we are so excited about it! I work for Dave, I am the Houseboat Cleaning Supervisor down at Antlope Point Marina where there are huge million dollar houseboats & yachts. I work alot in the Summer and get most of the Winter off. Rodney is the Lead Captain at Antelope Point Marina he drives all the huge houseboats in & out of their slips & the Marina. He is one of the best Captains you could ask for, on a windy day he will save your boat! Lake Powell is gorgeous & so is the scenery in Page. Rodney & I have a little fixer upper home & we are enjoying doing little things here & there. |
| Interests | Well my lateset interest is trying to get into shape, Rodney and I have started to go swimming in the mornings. After watching the Olympics, we are excited! I want to start new things, the other thing is photography. I want to look into it like my friend, Amber, she is amazing! My other friend, Gwen and I want to read all the classic books that you would have to read if you were in school so I think that is going to be fun. I need to find an interest in the English language and teach myself where to put commas again bare with me. :) Basically there are a lot of things I would love to start doing. |
| Favorite movies | I have a lot of favorite movies... love Jim carrey, but I really love chick flicks! Some of my favorites are: You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, 50 First Dates, P.S. I love you (only watch this one if you want to cry real hard!), French Kiss, I love The Lord of the Rings (I know I am a big nerd!), those are just a few I definately love movies though and could go on and on. |
| Favorite music | Sarah McLachlan is my favorite I love her lyrics. Chevelle, Blink 182, Dave Mathews Band, James Blunt, Bon Jovi, Cake, Bob Marley, Jason Maraz, Jack Johnson, IZ, Jewel again I could go on and on I love music also. |
| Favorite books | Right now would be The Twighlight Saga, thanks to my nieces and Robyn! Also The Host by the same Author Stephanie Meyer that was a really good book. I like Ann Rice books... I have read alot of good LDS books too probably the best was The Work and The Glory series. I LOVE the book The Big Friendly Giant. I know that is silly I am almost 26 and would still read that book and Where The Side Walk Ends the book of silly poems for children. Just about anything though if it has a good story line. |
