| Introduction | Fresh Bread! How delicious! That was our idea when we joined the farmers market. We wanted to provide fresh baked products that had ingredients that came from the Islands. Being a mother of three who loves to bake we thought we could offer products that adults as well as children would enjoy. My children, Connor, Sophie and Brogan helped decide what items we would sell and were involved in being my official taste testers. Many times I would hear, "This is not crunchy enough," or "There needs to be more blueberries in this." Along with making bake goods,jams and granola, we produce our own maple syrup. Even Brogan who was 2 during this last season, would help by gathering the sap and bringing in wood. This year we hope to be making honey from our bee hives. |
