Favorite Music Growing up listing to classic R&B, contemporary jazz and progressive hip hop, my musical foundation has set the tone for my current preferences of musical artists. If you were to scroll through my CD collection at home or my iPod, you would find an array....Erykah Badu, Miles Davis, A Tribe Called Quest, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Mos Def, Coldplay, Bjork, Jill Scott, Mozart, Kanye West, Common, Fiona Apple and the list goes on. Music can add excitement to everyday house cleaning or help me reflect after a long day. I play classical music for my students to get them focused during exams, and authentic hip hop and R&B during group work. Music is everywhere all the time....music is life.
