| Introduction | I'll try to come up with a better profile, but for now I'll explain my alias. I've been known as "iring" on twopeasinabucket.com for years. I chose that username because I was ringing handbells quite a bit at the time. Haven't been ringing lately, but I still enjoy handbells. |
| Interests | I don't think I've ever met a craft I didn't like! My current favorite is rubber stamping. Other works in progress include a recent spurt of crocheted potholders, punch needle embroidery and scrapbook pages. Past crafting endeavors include tole painting, pottery, cross-stitch, smocking, hardangar embroidery, macrame (ha! still have some cord, plant hangers are coming back I tell ya!), crewel embroidery. Still want to try basket weaving, weaving in general and maybe even spinning, stained glass and quilting. Hmm, maybe I need a bucket list of craft endeavors. |
| Favorite books | Grapes of Wrath (it's been years since I read it, but I liked it so much that I read a bunch more books by John Steinbeck after that), just finished My Life in France (autobiography of Julia Child) and Julie and Julia, now reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society for my first ever book club assignment. Should be fun! |
