| Introduction | I have degrees in anthropology and education, and have done extensive studies in varied fields of the humanities and social sciences: philosophy, psychology, theology, and the arts. I teach culture studies with groups of students in Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, and Costa Rica. I am deeply concerned with the direction our nation is taking in weakening the family and encouraging all sorts of behaviors that are very harmful to youth and to societal harmony in general. |
