| Introduction | Started in Plainview as a suckling, and grew to young adult in Lubbock county. I have a soft spot for that flat land, and semi-arid climate. The ground rises up to meet my feet in that part of Texas. My education started with dad, multiple home projects, adding central heat, building a cellar, reroofing the house, demolishing houses for their lumber, tiling, plumbing, framing, auto mechanics on old points ignitions and cannister oil filter cars and trucks. It expanded by working for several farmers in the northern part of the county, sweeping out the High Plains Hog Market for folding money, Avtech Aviation, Texas A&M Experiment station, as well as 3 semesters at Texas Technical. Electrician, finished my BS at LeTourneau College, and on to broadcast engineer in Houston. Over to a technical position based in south Texas. I haven't lost my childhood curiosity, or my willingness to plow headlong into places and projects I should probably avoid. |
