| Introduction | I have lived in the Village of Minerva Park since 2003 and was attracted to the Village because of the natural beauty of the ravine and safety of having our own police service.
Having an interest in local government and politics and serving in elected positions within clubs and organizations during the past 50 years, it was natural to become involved in the Village. I have been a member of the MPCA since moving into the Village, have participated in many of their events, and have attended various council meetings and delivered citizen comments at many of them. I was a founding member of the Green Team and spearheaded the formation of the ravine committee, of which I am now chairperson. In January 2010, I was appointed a member of the Planning & Zoning commission, and in 2011 ran in the General Election. I appreciate Council for appointing me to the seat vacated by Matt Danzuso, and I look forward to serving the residents of Minerva Park. |
