| Introduction | I am a consultant anaesthetist who resigned from the English NHS in January 2012 to volunteer on board the Africa Mercy with Mercy Ships. The Africa Mercy is the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship,and is based in West and Central Africa. I love what I do and I am grateful to everyone who has and continues to support me so that this work can be possible I update this blog at the beginning of every month, to share my thoughts with you.
