Introduction	I am married to a wonderfully smart and witty woman. Four terrific children keep me marginally youthful, even in my dotage. I love politics, golf, travel (in luxury) and avoiding exercise at all cost. Gettysburg College, my home away from home, has been good to me and I still enjoy my work and companionship with teaching colleagues and students.

Favorite books	All the popular, easy to read and not-too-thought-provoking novelists, such as Nelson DeMille, James Patterson, and John Grisham.
