Introduction | I grew up in a childhood that was blessed by having two fairy tale like Grandparents who came from Hungary. Their wisdom, sense of humor and love and family taught me most of what I know about life, food and living happily. My Grandmoma Yuliska was my entire world, and the home that she lovingly created will forever be in my memory. I spent many hours watching her effortlessly throw together Kiflis, Kalacs, Hungarian crepes and other pastries. Then there was the Chicken Soup with fine threads of her homemade noodles. Were it not for her lessons in cooking with a dollop of chicken fat here and a caramelizing of onions there, I would not be the cook that I am today. I spend most of my time now doing my psychic work, and enjoying the beauty of living in Florida, but I love giving gifts of food and baking pastries of my Hungarian lineage. I love reading, painting, baking, writing, stargazing, watching old movies with a huge cup of black tea and cuddling with my cats . I am an animal lover and have rescued many cats that would have been euthanized or had come from abusive homes. Having tea in the afternoon is a special time for me. |
