| Introduction | I am a mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. I am also a widow who misses her soul mate today as much as the day he went to his Heavenly home 3 years ago. But, I have the sweet memories of him, which sustain me when I am in a down mood. I have a wonderful church family in addition to my own family. Most importantly, I have a gracious God, who walks with me every day. It is a great comfort to have a Savior whom I know was born, died, was resurrected to give us eternal life if we believe in his promises. I love writing, though you will know that I am not a professional. I write from the heart about things that I have experienced that have been painful, things about me as I see them in my golden years, and hopefully things on the lighter side that make you smile as they do me. I am thankful for my life, my family, and all of my friends who have always been there for me, in the dark days, as well as the days that have been good. |
