| Introduction | We, Sue and Meg, have been friends for 23 years… a long and ongoing journey that has seen us work, play, eat, and yes, cook together. To celebrate the end of 2011 and start 2012 off with a flourish, we wined and dined ourselves silly, cooking at Sue’s house. Somewhere between dinner and desert we resolved to cook together more often in 2012, and that evolved into every other Saturday, alternating homes/kitchens. We live about 20 miles apart; so winter weather may be a factor. The almost grand plan is to select an entrée, pick one or more side dishes and pair with a suitable wine. We are both Merlot drinkers, and this provides the golden opportunity to sip into the tantalizing array of wines on the market. We’re starting out with a $10.00 wine limit. We invite you to come along on our journey, and definitely find a friend to cook with, because sharing makes everything taste better! |
