IntroductionPastor Kelly Oglesby is humbled by the abundant ways in which God has blessed her. Pastor Kelly is presently pursuing a doctorate degree in Curriculum Instruction and Media Technology. She has undergraduate degrees from Indiana University and Indiana State University in African American Studies and Women’s Studies. She has been an ordained minister for over twenty years. She has presented around the country on research related to the history, operations, and future of the Black Church. She also has researched on the experience of clergywomen in the Black Church and Community, the role and relationship of First Ladies in the Black Church, as well as the contributions of black women in the global community. Pastor Kelly Oglesby is committed to Christ and believes education must be at the core of every ministry. She has been recognized as a community leader by the Terre Haute branch of the NAACP for endeavors to unite the community in prayer by organizing the Wabash Valley Family Day of Prayer, a day that unites nonprofit organizations, ministries, and field experts to deliver practical and spiritual information to the community.
