Introduction	I could begin by saying I am a mother of three children, happily married to the most amazingly solid man, and love the Lord with all my heart. Although that may be true it could be construed as happily ever after. If you really want to know about me, you should know that my life is no fairy tale. I’ve spent a good 30-something years in trial and error (with a lot of errors). They say the formation of a pearl takes years. The Essence of Pearls is a digest of my journey through Christian faith, finds, family, and friends. I am a writer, speaker, and philanthropist who is passionate about serving the poor, the orphans, and the widow.
