| Introduction | Bonjour! Sorry to disappoint, but that's about all the French you'll get out of this blog. My husband and I moved to New York from Austin in September 2003; he's a lawyer and I am... available. The last few years have been something of an adjustment for us. John was born and raised in Austin, but this should have been a homecoming for me: I was born here, while my father was stationed on Governors Island. It's taken a while for me to get my New York on, but I think you'll find I now rock it like I never left the Big Apple. Unless a cashier at Duane Reade has just reduced me to tears. |
