| Introduction | I'm a writer, animal lover, nature freak, and longtime activist dealing with her third bout of cancer. This time it's leukemia. It's a long story but the leukemia originated with my breast cancer treatment in '03. Despite my bad luck with chemo, I'm trying it again (a different type), hoping it will slow the progression of my current disease. But I'm also looking into alternative treatments. Any suggestions?
