Introduction	Life sure throws us curve balls sometimes. I'm going to need a really big mitt to get through this inning. I will do what I can to survive but let's face it, it's cancer, and cancer has a mind of its own. So come what may, I will try to face each step with as much strength and grace as I can muster. I tend to deal with difficult situations through humour. I find that being sad and crying just gives me puffy eyes and that's not what I'm about. That doesn't mean I don't get upset or take it seriously; it's just my coping mechanism. I hope my blog will give insight to those women who are going through breast cancer, those of you who know someone dealing with this diagnosis (who doesn't?), and to those of you who support me daily through this devastating reality, whether personally or from afar. And if you're curious about my age, math is not my strong point, so we'll say "old-ish".
