Introduction Myrdin Thompson is a Grassroots Poverty Expansion Associate for RESULTS (addressing US Poverty Policy issues). She is also a runner with the Michael J. Fox Foundation's Team Fox, raising funds and awareness for Parkinson's research, and in June/July of 2014 she successfully summited Mt.Kilimanjaro. She has been a champion/mentor advocating on behalf of the United Nations Foundation Shot@Life program (which addresses global vaccination issues), in April 2011 was recognized by the White House as a "Champion of Change" and was the 2010 Kentucky Delegate for Parenting magazine's Mom Congress.
