| Introduction | I'm a bit of a misnomer. I like to be girlie, have a penchant for fake fur but like to get my hands dirty...I've renovated 2 homes and enjoy sculpture and pottery. I also love pop art (especially Roy Lichtenstein). I'm married with a lovely husband and two beautiful children (baby girl, toddler boy). I have a PhD and Masters (exercise immunology, public health) and worked in health promotion until redundancy late 2012. My primary role at the moment is being the best mum I can be. I love to curl up with a good book, have a good debate and bake yummy goodies..yes..I have a sweet-tooth. I love to be active, especially weight training swimming and walking (previously netball) but am now restricted due to calf and foot problems :o( I love animals. A favourite past-time was daily walks in our local nature reserve with my beautiful (but old and now disabled) dog, Gemma. We also have a younger dog Diesel. They are both sooky la-la staffys. I have 2 burmese cats who now keep my mum company and my husband's stand-off-ish cat, Ducati, lives with us. I have also foster-mothered possums. I'm a messy virgo who has tidy spurts. How's that for a mix? |
