| Introduction | erikstifjell (b.1976) norwegian composer, percussionist and artist. educated with majors in percussion and composing @ tromso university college/faculty of art, the academy of music/aalborg/denmark and west jutland academy of music/esbjerg/denmark. composing both acoustic and electronic music, principal compositions and music for film, theatre and other art-wok. his music is played in norway/sweden/denmark/austria. percussionist/timpanist in different orchestras/ensembles/bands. also improvising percussionist/lap-top musician with 'ur-tur'/'spontanfönk'/'pong remix'. member of 'northern light - fire-art group'/ board member of 'surtr - international fire-art symposium and festival'/ former member of 'kjettingteateret - performance theatre'. erikstifjell was 'the festival of north-norway's' young art project in 2004 with the live-installation 'urbanic'. |
