Introduction	John and Kristi first met through Yahoo Personals. They each had best friends who encouraged them to try the online dating route. Kristi spotted John's dashing smile in his profile and sent him a message. John sent Kristi a response. They began emailing, and before long, John suggested that they meet in person. The first meeting went well, daily phone calls began and soon, John invited Kristi to sample his cooking! For dessert, John built Kristi a "campfire" in his very tiny grill in the back yard. They made S'Mores...and began falling in love... All was well until some changes came in John's job. In order for John to stay in StL, he would take a $10,000 cut in pay. Family being important to both Kristi and John, they decided that they would rather live in either the Bismarck, ND area where John is from, or the St. Louis area, where Kristi's family lives. So after much deliberation it was decided John should take a job in Bismarck, ND offered by the Army Corps of Engineers. John started his new job on Aug. 6, 2007, while Kristi stayed in StL. They have managed to see each other once a month, despite the 1000 mile distance!
