| Introduction | I am happily married and retired, living in a small seaside village near Cape Town. Mother to four amazing adults, step mother to two. Between us we have five grandchildren. I was widowed in 1996 leaving me with four children ranging in ages19,16,11,2. The 2 year old is our adopted angel who joined our family at six weeks old. Hubby & I married in 2007. We are a close, large, loud, boisterous family (it has to be the Italian blood) who get together as often as possible. Retirement in our house is far from quiet & every day is an adventure of some sort. I have Fibromyalgia which is a huge challenge but I refuse to allow it to define me. I also had Breast Cancer in 2021. This blog is sharing the craziness, challenges ups and downs of my life. Cast of characters : Hubby � Big Guy my eldest Son. Poppet my eldest daughter.
