| Introduction | I've been married since august 2006 to my HS sweetheart, I guess you could say. When he met me, I did not know that boiling eggs involved water and my muffins were used as field hockey practice. Now I can make quiche from eggs and people eat my baked goods and SMILE. Progress is a good thing. I really got into cooking and baking when I was struggling with infertility before Brody Bean and blogging took a back seat with the whirlwind of back to back pregnancies (life is AMAZING!!!) and two moves. Now working through BRCA2+, stage 2B breast cancer, 5+ months of chemo, and three surgeries, I am back to one of my tried and true coping skills... making people smile through some delicious foods... mainly, in the form of cupcakes for my amazing chemo nurses! |
