| Introduction | Pop culture has been the biggest influence on my artwork even though my parents were very much into the fine arts. Rauschenberg, Johns, Rosenquist; these were names I heard constantly while growing up, but I was more jazzed by the latest issue of Fantastic Four & Spiderman. This, combined with an early diet of '70s action shows & '60s reruns created my admiration for pop culture. I also lived two minutes from a toy store and for any young kid this leaves an impression, whether you're an artist or not. |

| Favorite movies | The Invisible Man, Slapshot, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Dazed & Confused, The Stranger, Sahara, The Doors, Yellow Submarine, Total Recall (most Schwarzenegger films), The Jerk, Frankenstein, all Connery Bond films (& most Connery films), most Eastwood (particularly The Man with No Name films). If it doesn't have robots or explosions, I ain't gonna watch it. Also, comedies from the 1930s to now. |
| Favorite music | Most music from the 1960s & 1990s, Bowie, Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who, Novelty songs, Pre-80s Country, Classical, Alt & New Wave, Hip-Hop, STP, AiC, Nirvana, Deathcab for Cutie, MGMT - if it sounds good, I like it. |
