| Introduction | I am new to blogging and after years of keeping a journal I thought maybe it was time to join the rest of the world and blog. If anything I am definitely opinionated :) These days though everyone is. I live in Oklahoma and truthfully the South is not for me. I am a former Army Brat and Army Wife so I have traveled most of my life. I know one thing for certain "I am a Yankee at heart!" Not that I dislike all of the things in the south and not that I am generalizing and saying all of the south is the same, I just know I am not one of the majority when it comes to my personal beliefs, values, and priorities. I guess the biggest difference I face is the pace of my life here. It seems slow to me. I would prefer a city like Chicago where there is always something open and something to do. Here everything closes by 10 except Wal-Mart (which I hate and I am sure will be the topic of many blogs to come) My kids do attend a wonderful Private Christian school though and if not for that reason I would have picked up and moved long ago. So until they graduate (in 10 years) I am content with my current residence. Maybe a few more trips up north every year will help :) |

| Favorite music | I love just about everything except country. I can however tolerate some country and I even have some songs I my iTunes. I love music like John Mayer and James Morrison, Michael Buble. Thanks to my kids I have a softspot for Radio Disney and Hannah Montana. My favorite artist of all time is by far Patti Labelle..love her, love her, love her! |

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?
Prayer and lots of it! Fame is not for everybody and I enjoy my privacy way too much for people to be outside of my house all the time :)
