Introduction	Mar Augustine’s High School Thuravoor, under the parish St. Augustine’s R.C Church Thuravoor, was establised in the year 1982 June 1. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kudiyiruppil was the founder manager. Sri. A.P Kurian, Ex- Speaker, Kerala State Legislative Assembly, took steps to get saction from the government. First headmaster was Sri. K.T Jose. Now there are 14 divisions, 26 teachers, 4 non-teaching staffs and 600 students. From 1997 onwards new English Medium classes were started in std.VIII, IX and X. Science lab, Computer Lab, Multimedia room, Red Cross, Health Club, Science Club, Mathematics Club, Social Science Club, DC L, band set and Chendamelam are the organisations formed for the development of various skills among the students.
