| Introduction | one morning in a crowded bus in bombay, in an attempt to ward off eve-teasers, she got into a fight with another man. she demanded he vacate the seat reserved for women. the man did not put up a good fight, but did not relent either. she felt a rush of blood to her head. the kind, even his legs haven't felt. he had polio. she didn't know that till later. she will not forget the polio man ever. |
