| Introduction | Mom to a fructose intolerant daughter and recently diagnosed son with Celiac. I am learning every day what can and cannot be eaten. I rely on what everyone else has already experimented with and find that the celiac diet is easy compared to my daughter's fructose malabsorption. To be honest, her diet leads me to tears and banging my head against the wall in frustration. It is not an easy diet for a young girl to follow; let alone any person. The states are way behind in researching this malabsorption in comparison to other countries (Australia) and found a support group there (online)that I lurk on for info. Mostly, this blog is an oulet for me and a place I can review recipes and go back and look to see if we already tried it or what we thought of it. But, I hope it helps someone else out there too. |
